Alto Elementary School

Dear Parents,

     It is so hard to believe we have completed the first six weeks already. The students are truly working hard and learning so many wonderful things.  We have almost completed our first character trait, Trustworthiness. Our second trait, Respect,will be worked on for our second six weeks. UIL try-outs and competitions will be starting very soon.  Encourage your child to participate.  We are also extremely excited to be having a "mock" election for our students.  Our fourth graders are leading this effort  to help our students understand the voting process better.  Our candidates will be The Cat in the Hat and Mrs. Frizzle, two book characters.  The students will go through all of the steps for voting.   Thank you for your support and involvement.

October 31--Muffins with Mom in the Rotunda  

Students may wear a Halloween T-shirt or Black and Orange today,but no costumes please.
