Teacher with students in the classroom

About Us

Alto ISD Parents & Guardians,

I hope you are all healthy and safe as we move forward during this difficult period. We have been working tirelessly during these unprecedented times to develop our reopening guidance document for the 2020-2021 school year.  The guidance document will be adjusted based on state orders.

You will have two options, traditional on-campus or AISD’s online program. Please review the AISD Strong Start Parent Publication in order to make the best decision for your child.  Both the guidance document and option commitment form have been mailed to you. If you need help completing any forms, please contact campus offices for further assistance.

Your learning choice will need to be made by completing the option commitment form returned to the administrative building by July 30th. You will need to complete one form per child.  We support you in making whatever choice is best for your student.

We know you’ll have questions so please do not hesitate to call us for assistance as we work through this challenging moment together.

With guidance being received from the federal, state, and local government agencies, the CDC, TEA, UIL, and the American Academy of Pediatrics makes this a very fluid and challenging situation as the requirements to be met are changing rapidly.

As a parent, educator, and member of the community, I empathize with what we are all going through, but I also know we have experienced difficult times before and we will get through this together.

We love and miss your children and look forward to seeing them soon, either in person or online.
