"Grow Your Own" Initiative
To promote and model life-long learning for our staff and students, Alto ISD is proud to invest in our high achieving employees who are continuing their education through our “Grow Your Own Initiative.” For employees who apply for and are accepted into the Initiative, a tuition/program fee reimbursement incentive will be paid at the end of each semester upon submission of tuition receipts and passing grades that go toward an employee obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or completion of an Alternative Certification Program in Education.
Applications are due no later than August 1. Participants will be reviewed and formally approved at the August board meeting.
Applicants should download the appropriate sample timeline, edit it to reflect the appropriate dates, and attach it to their application.
