Career Workplace Preparation (CTE)

By blending hands-on experiences with rigorous academics, Career and Technical Education helps prepare our students for the emerging global marketplace. These challenging courses help students identify career goals, determine the education necessary to achieve those goals, and acquire marketable skills which can be used in a career immediately after graduation and/or as a means to support themselves while pursuing further education.

Alto High School currently offers five programs of study. For Business and Industry, they include Animal Science, applied Agricultural Engineering, and Digital Communications. In the area of Public Services, we have Exercise and Wellness, and Teaching and Training.
