Alto Independent School District has once again been recognized for its commitment to building a strong, relationship-driven school culture. Alto ISD has been named a Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) National Showcase District for the 2025–2026 school year, marking the third consecutive year the district has received this prestigious honor.
Out of districts across the United States, only 85 were selected as National Showcase Districts this year, placing Alto ISD among an elite group of school systems recognized for excellence in fostering connected, supportive environments for students and staff.
Adding to this distinction, all three Alto ISD campuses were also named Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools for the second year in a row. Earning both the district-level and campus-level recognitions simultaneously is a rare accomplishment and underscores the consistency and depth of implementation across the entire district.
The Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase designation is awarded to schools and districts that demonstrate a sustained commitment to building positive relationships, creating safe and supportive learning environments, and ensuring that students and staff feel seen, heard, and valued.
“This recognition reflects the heart and dedication of our educators, staff, and administrators, as well as the strong support from our community,” said Superintendent Derrick Conley. “ We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and grateful to everyone who helps make Alto ISD such a special place.”
