🏈 Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique: inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8. It helps calm the nervous system and create space before reacting.
🚶 Get moving with a walk, stretching, or shooting hoops.
🎵 Express emotions through music, art, or creative activities.
📝 Journal thoughts and feelings to work through challenges.
And then, practice together. Teens learn more from what we do than what we say. By modeling healthy ways to handle stress, you're helping build resilience and strengthening their defense against risky behaviors.

What a special start to the day! More than 200 people gathered around the flagpole at Cam'ron Matthews Field this morning for See You at the Pole, an annual global day of student-led prayer. 🙏We are so proud of these students for their leadership and willingness to come together around something that is important to them.
Alto FFA members Jaiden, Jeremiah, Sarah, Jay, Malachi, Ryder and Antonio leveled up their leadership skills at the 2026 FFA Pineywoods District Leadership Day event hosted by Central Heights Ag Department. They explored AFNR advocacy, communication strategies, and inclusive practices which were facilitated by the District and Area Officers.
We’re proud of these students for investing in their leadership and growing the skills they’ll carry with them for years to come!
