Red Ribbon Week is Almost Here!
Red Ribbon Week began in 1985 in honor of DEA Agent Enrique βKikiβ Camarena, whose dedication to fighting drug trafficking inspired a nationwide movement. The red ribbon became a symbol of living drug-free and making safe, healthy choices.

We are thrilled to share that our high school and middle school TAME (AllPath) students had an incredible day at the Region 7 Kickoff in Kilgore! π They showcased their creativity by designing 3D prototypes aimed at expanding affordable internet access in remote areas. ππ‘
Our students demonstrated hard work and respect while competing against other East Texas schools. We are proud to announce that the Jaycee C. group came out on top, winning 1st place, and two groups, Daxton M. and Avery S., earned Judges' Choice awards! ππ

This afternoon, AHS students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with delicious food, lively music, and rich culture! Thanks to Coach Soto and his students, along with our amazing cafeteria ladies for making this event a success!



Ms. Kelley's A/V Production students decided Alto High School needed its own digital school newspaperβand theyβre making it happen! π° Each student has taken ownership of a section and works hard to create quality content while collaborating and sharing ideas. Ms. Kelley says this group is always eager to learn, follows directions, and has a lot of fun!ππ€

Alto ISD students turned out in a big way for the student-led See You at the Pole this morning! Around 150 students gathered together to lift up their school, community, and nation in prayer. πππ

Mr. Conley loves making good news calls to parents! Today he had the pleasure of calling AJβs mom to share that AJ is setting a great example for others in Mrs. Carpenterβs Animal Science class. Way to go, AJ! ππ

Homecoming 2025 was extra special as we welcomed back members of the 1995 State Finalist football team and cheerleaders! Thank you for celebrating with us and reminding us what Jacket Pride is all about. πππ

This schedule allows our Junior High and JV football players, band members, and cheerleaders to participate before heading out for their away games. We love seeing all of our Yellowjackets come together to cheer on one another! ππ€
