Red Ribbon Week began in 1985 in honor of DEA Agent Enrique βKikiβ Camarena, whose dedication to fighting drug trafficking inspired a nationwide movement. The red ribbon became a symbol of living drug-free and making safe, healthy choices.

Congratulations to our Alto Elementary Students of the Week! These students have shown outstanding hard work and respect, setting a great example for their classmates. π
Our AES Staff Member of the Week is Mrs. Blankinship! Affectionately called Mawmaw by many, Mrs. Blankinship is the perfect mix of firm and loving. She keeps everyone on track while bringing warmth and care to our campus!

Thank you, Mrs. Gonzalez Rios, for helping our students learn and celebrate the rich heritage that makes our community so special!

Celebrated every year on October 6th, this day honors the incredible impact of coaches who serve as teachers, mentors, and role modelsβhelping athletes grow in skill, character, and confidence. Established by President Richard Nixon in 1972, National Coaches Day recognizes the dedication and heart coaches put into guiding, motivating, and building teamwork and discipline in their players.
Letβs show our appreciation! π Drop a comment below to thank our amazing Alto ISD coaches for all they do! π€π

Our varsity cheerleaders had a blast teaching PKβ6th grade Yellowjackets fun cheers and chants. The campers showed off what they learned in a special performance for their parents, and theyβll take the field again to perform before the Tenaha game this Friday night!
