The 2026 Alto Yellowjackets are kicking things off THIS THURSDAY at 5:00 PM in Timpson! Bring the family. Bring the noise. Let’s get after it, Alto! 🐝🏈 #75925

🚨 School Bus Safety Reminder 🚨

It’s back-to-school season, and that means Alto ISD school buses are back on the roads! Let's keep kids safe by following the law and staying alert:

🛑 STOP for School Buses
Texas law requires drivers in both directions to stop when a school bus has flashing red lights—unless there’s a raised median or physical barrier between you and the bus.

Turn lanes don't count as dividers—drivers on both sides must stop.

🚂 Bonus Tip: All school buses stop at railroad crossings—be patient!

Driver Safety Tips:
• Watch for kids near bus stops and school zones
• Slow down—especially during pickup/drop-off times
• Expect the unexpected—children may dart into the street
• Know the laws and help protect young lives

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe! 💛🖤

We are incredibly proud of Jaylen on being named Honorable Mention Shortstop on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Baseball Team!

Monday is a busy day! High School parents, please join the AHS staff at 5:30 in the cafeteria.

Guests who will be walking their students into the building on the first day of school are invited to submit their information online in order to have their badge prepared early. The 2026-2027 school year is officially underway, and what a great way to kick it off! We welcomed our amazing staff back this morning with drinks from Swirl & Swig, breakfast from Lindsey's Barbecue, words of encouragement from Dr. Crawford, and our annual back-to-school staff photo. Then came the surprise! 🚌 We loaded up the buses and headed to Walmart in Lufkin, where every staff member had the opportunity to shop for supplies and extras to help prepare for a successful school year. We wrapped up an incredible first day together with a wonderful lunch and fellowship at Cafe Del Rio. Here's to an amazing year at Alto ISD! 💛🖤

We apologize for any inconvenience and we'll be back this afternoon!
