Congratulations to Keithan, AMS's "Gold Standard" student today! Great job young man, and keep up the good work!

Let's celebrate our Elementary students of the week! These outstanding students have a great attitude, respectful, and kind to their peers and teachers. We are so proud of them and the example they set for their classmates.
Our staff member of the week, Ms. Cynthia Wilkerson, loves her students and her job! She always has the biggest smile and greets everyone with the biggest hug! Her energy and positive attitude radiates throughout the halls and in her classroom, and we are so grateful to have her at AES!

Alto ISD's Homecoming spirit continued along the western, Yellowjacket trail today! We are ready to saddle up and rope the Wildcats Friday night! 🤠👊🏻🏈🐎

Talk. They Hear You. It’s not just a slogan—it’s a reminder. Our kids are listening, even when we think they aren’t. Start the conversation early. Keep it going. 🗣️💬
💡 Tips to Keep it Natural:
Keep it short and casual—don’t make it feel like a lecture.
Use real-life situations (TV shows, news, social media) as jumping-off points.
Listen more than you talk. Let them share their thoughts and feelings.

Big congratulations to Selina and Valentina, our most recent “Gold Standard” students at AMS! Thanks for leading the way with excellence. 🐝

📣 For the remainder of football season, pep rallies will begin at 2:30 p.m. 🎶🏈🐝
This schedule allows our Junior High and JV football players, band members, and cheerleaders to participate before heading out for their away games. We love seeing all of our Yellowjackets come together to cheer on one another! 💛🖤
As always, the public is invited to pep rallies, but must sit in the designated area. Please do not enter the student section, and remember that students may not be picked up from the pep rally. Thanks for understanding!

Several fourth graders recently read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr. Today they successfully made their own paper cranes...and learned that origami is not easy!

Alto Varsity Football will play at Hull-Daisetta this Thursday, September 11, with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Because Hull-Daisetta is a 2.5-hour trip by bus, Alto ISD will release early at 2:00 p.m. that day.
This early release is necessary so that buses can complete their regular routes and then transport the football team, band, and cheerleaders to the game. We appreciate your understanding!
