Seniors explored Texas State Technical College today to check out all the amazing programs the campus has to offer!

Alto 4th graders spent the day diving into the world of agriculture! They learned where our food comes from, discovered how farmers care for animals and crops, and explored the many ways agriculture affects everyday life.
A special thank you goes out to all the community partners, volunteers, and teachers who helped make this experience both educational and fun!

Mrs. Parker brought learning to life today as she read a poem about the Salem Witch Trials to the 7th and 8th grade RLA students. She was so in character, she may have even attended a meeting still dressed in her costume!

The 7th grade football game that was scheduled to be played in Mt. Enterprise this evening has been cancelled by Mt. Enterprise.

📢 Parents! Red Ribbon Week isn’t just about dressing up and theme days, it’s a chance for you to talk to your kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Believe it or not, YOU have a significant influence in your children’s decision to use alcohol and other drugs. It may not seem like it, but students DO listen 👂 when their parents talk about underage drinking and substance use.
The Drug-Free Council program is funded by a grant from TxDOT to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes in Texas. #TalkTheyHearYou

Today marks 10 years since we lost Cam’ron Matthews, a beloved Jacket, teammate, and friend.
Though a decade has passed, his memory continues to inspire us—to play with heart, live with purpose, and care deeply for others. 💛

It’s time for another round of Students of the Week at Alto Elementary School! 🌟 These shining stars are being recognized for their hard work, great attitudes, and positive example on campus! Our AES Staff Member of the Week is Ms. Hawthorn. She always puts students first and works tirelessly to help them succeed. Her long hours and big heart make a difference every day at Alto Elementary!

🧟♀️ Zombie Survival in RLA! 🧠✏️
It was no ordinary day in Mrs. Parker’s RLA class! Students walked in to find a skeleton waiting for them—and a warning that zombies were nearby! 🧟♂️
Each student received a color-coded card that determined their base, role, resources, and special advantages or disadvantage. After teaming up, groups created survival maps complete with legends and detailed written plans for how to outlast the zombie invasion.
The fun activity had a serious purpose: students demonstrated their understanding of sentence fluency by crafting clear, varied sentences in their survival plans. Great work, Mrs. Parker’s class—way to make learning come alive! 💀📚
