We'd like to give a big shoutout to our AllPath (TAME) students! Yesterday, middle and high school teams traveled to LeTourneau University for the 2025–26 STEM Regional Competition. We didn’t bring home first place this year, but every student lived our “Hard Work & Respect” motto and earned rave reviews from judges and local engineers. 👏

It's time to recognize the AHS Teacher of the Month and Students of the Month for January! Mr. Johnathan Harvey was chosen as Teacher of the Month by his colleagues. They say he is "friendly and genuinely cares for others," and "we are lucky to have him here at AHS."
Alyssa, Brianna, Jayce, and Lenna were chosen as Students of the Month by their teachers. These students work hard and put in the effort to succeed, and we are proud of the example they set for others!

Today we proudly celebrate Ra'Shad Lynch, who committed to play football at East Texas Baptist University on National Signing Day!
During the signing, Coach Reagan shared an inspiring message about Ra'Shad’s time as a Yellowjacket, highlighting the importance of perseverance—showing up, putting in the work, and pushing forward, no matter what. Ra'Shad’s journey is a great reminder that success comes from resilience, grit, and commitment!

The baseball scrimmage scheduled for this evening has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

February 23rd marks the 100th day of school, and our Alto Elementary students are officially 100 days smarter!
Students are invited to celebrate by creating a 100th Day outfit or dressing like they are 100 years old. Let's celebrate 100 days of learning!

This week, we proudly celebrate our school counselors, Mrs. Emily Rabago and Mrs. Samantha Iles! Their primary role is supporting the social-emotional needs of our students—listening, encouraging, guiding, and helping our kids grow both academically and personally.
In a small school, they also step in to handle so many additional responsibilities, from scheduling to problem-solving and everything in between. No matter the task, they approach it with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine heart for students. We're so thankful for the impact they make! Enjoy these fun caricatures and join us in celebrating our counselors! 💐

Mrs. Carpenter and two students braved the cold last week to show their Beefmaster heifers at the Fort Worth Stock Show! After returning briefly to Alto, Mrs. Carpenter and Mr. Davis then traveled back to Fort Worth with the largest group of rabbit exhibitors to date—15 students showing 24 rabbits. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication! 🐄🐇❄️

Administrators spent the morning scouting the next generation of educators at Stephen F. Austin State University! We’re blessed to have a strong partnership with SFA’s Educator Preparation Program, and many of our outstanding teachers first joined us as SFA student teachers. 🪓🐝

School Calendar Update: No Makeup Days Required! 🎉
We know many families have been wondering how this week’s closures on Monday and Tuesday will impact the rest of the school year. Here’s the good news: these missed days will NOT require makeup time.
Texas public school districts are required to provide a minimum of 75,600 instructional minutes each year. Our district calendar was intentionally built with extra instructional minutes to account for situations like this. As long as we are able to operate as scheduled for the remainder of the school year, no makeup days will be needed.
