We also want to recognize Ms. Rhonda Jackson! 💛 She carries out her work with patience and kindness, and we are grateful for the positive impact she has on our students and campus!

Our AHS Cheerleaders will be set up tomorrow morning in the Elementary Rotunda, Middle School Lobby, and High School Hallway selling fun spirit items!

Thanks to our incredibly generous Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy and our amazing community, the Hygiene Hubs on each of our campuses are now fully stocked!

These hubs were created by Nurse Dover and the Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) to make essential hygiene items easily available to our students. They include soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, socks, and more.

We also want to give a special shoutout to some of our high school students who volunteered their time to organize and stock the Hygiene Hub on their campus! We love seeing our students step up and serve others. 💛🖤 #75925

Our fourth graders are carrying on a great Alto Elementary tradition! 🇺🇸 On Friday, they learned the proper flag protocol from Mr. Reitan and Alto FFA members, and beginning tomorrow, they’ll take on the responsibility of raising and lowering the flags each day. We’re proud to see our oldest AES students stepping up to serve their school and honor our flag! 💛🖤

From a Pre-K student learning the routines of lunch in the cafeteria, to middle school students learning to use scientific calculators, to high school students getting hands-on experience working on a car starter, learning looks a little different at every age—and we love seeing it happen all across Alto ISD! 💛🖤

We would also like to recognize our AES Staff Member of the Week, Mrs. Stephanie Hammons! 🌟Mrs. Hammons teaches Kindergarten and consistently volunteers to lead extra efforts that enrich our school community. Her heart for students makes a difference!

At each monthly board meeting, we recognize one student from each campus for their hard work and respectful attitude.

This month, we were proud to honor Hazel, Lucas, and Jayce! 🎉 Their families joined us for this special recognition, and we couldn’t be more proud of these outstanding students. Keep up the great work!

Alto ISD is committed to ensuring that all partnerships reflect the values and expectations of our district and community. At this time, we are pausing our relationship with Lifetouch and are consulting with legal counsel regarding our options for exiting the current contract.

Prior to the most recent information brought to our attention, we had already begun exploring the possibility of working with local photographers for future campus needs. Our goal has always been to partner with vendors who best serve our students, families, and community.

At this time, the only photos previously scheduled with Lifetouch are elementary class pictures on April 9. We will notify families well in advance of that date regarding who will be taking those photos.

Last night, members of American Legion Post 293 attended the Board of Trustees meeting to present a certificate of appreciation for the Veterans Day Program we hosted in November.

Mrs. Dorsey proudly accepted the award on behalf of Alto ISD. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor those who have served our country. 🇺🇸

Our students have worked hard preparing for tomorrow’s Black History Program, and we can’t wait to see it all come together. Please join us at 1:30 tomorrow in the high school gym!

At last night’s board meeting, the Alto ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2026–2027 district calendar.

Alto High School was well represented at the Student Council Spring Conference at Central Heights ISD last week. Students participated in leadership activities, voted on action items, and collaborated with peers from other schools. We’re proud of the way they represented our district!
