Kindergarten students had an exciting day of learning and exploring at EcoLand! 🐧❄️🌎
EcoLand, located at ESC 7 in Kilgore, is a hands-on learning center designed to bring classroom concepts to life through interactive experiences. Our students explored the Polar Learning Center and other learning environments as they discovered more about habitats, animals, adaptations, and the world around them.

Grandparents Day Bingo Bonanza was a HUGE success! The cafeteria was full of AES students and grandparents laughing, playing, snacking, and having fun together. We’re so thankful for everyone who came out to make the night special!

💛💛 Friday Night, We’re Cheering for Deysy! 💛💛
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and this Friday night, our Yellowjacket family will come together to support one of our own — 11th grader Deysy Castillo. Deysy has been in the hospital in Dallas since early this summer, and we could not be prouder of the strength, courage, and fight she continues to show.
During Friday night’s game, a football helmet will be passed through the stands. If you feel led to give, we invite you to drop a donation in the helmet to support Deysy and her family. These funds can help with whatever her family needs — travel, daily expenses, or simply helping ease some of the financial burden that comes with this journey.
Most importantly, Friday night is about reminding Deysy that she is not fighting alone. She has an entire Yellowjacket family standing behind her, praying for her, cheering for her, and believing in her. #ALTOgether
This week in Alto Athletics...
Please note the slight time change for the Thursday football games. Junior High will play at 4:30 with JV following.
Congratulations to our Students of the Week: Hudson, Alaysia, Mia, Noemi, Chantelle, and Khloe! We are so proud of the way you are learning, growing, and making a difference at Alto Elementary! 💛🖤
And a big congratulations to Ms. Jones, our Staff Member of the Week! Ms. Jones is new to Alto Elementary, and she has already become an integral piece of the puzzle. We are so thankful to have her on our team!

Dr. Crawford shares a look at how Alto ISD uses data and accountability to measure progress, identify areas for growth, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. #4theA
For many of our students, September 11 is something they have only learned about in history books. But 25 years ago, it was a day that changed our nation and the lives of countless families.
Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward, and teach the next generation why we remember.
May we never forget. 🇺🇸

Friday, September 11 is a regular school day. Alto ISD will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. due to transportation needs related to Friday night’s football game in Normangee.
The early release will allow our buses and drivers to complete regular routes and safely transport our students and staff to the game. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.🐝
No school tomorrow--enjoy your day off!

Parents & Students:
We are aware of the “Cat in the Hat” social media trend circulating online and want to remind our students not to participate in or share this trend.
To be clear, Alto ISD has NOT been the subject of a threat. This post is simply a precautionary reminder as we become aware of trends that involve school safety or threats. What may seem like a joke or harmless social media trend can quickly become a serious matter with real consequences.
Parents, please take a moment to talk with your students about making responsible choices online. Think before you post, share, or participate. Thank you for helping us keep our students, staff, and school community safe. 🐝

Thanks to our incredibly generous Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy and our amazing community, the Hygiene Hubs on each of our campuses are now fully stocked!
These hubs were created by Nurse Dover and the Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) to make essential hygiene items easily available to our students. They include soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, socks, and more.
We also want to give a special shoutout to some of our high school students who volunteered their time to organize and stock the Hygiene Hub on their campus! We love seeing our students step up and serve others. 💛🖤 #75925
