This week, we’re also excited to recognize Ms. Jackson as our AES Staff Member of the Week! Mrs. Jackson may be new to our district, but she jumped right in, ready to make a difference for our students. We’re so glad she’s part of the Jacket family!

Members of Alto FFA recently trained our fourth graders on how to properly raise and lower the flags at Alto Elementary. We’re proud of these students for learning this important responsibility and grateful to our FFA members for taking the time to teach them!
We’re proud to share that Alto ISD earned a “B” rating from TEA for both 2024 and 2025 — a strong reflection of our dedicated teachers, hardworking students, and supportive community. 💛🖤

These ratings are based on factors like academic achievement, student progress from year to year, and how well schools are closing learning gaps.

This morning’s drop-off came with a burst of Jacket pride! Jayleigh hopped out of the car and surprised Mr. Conley with a big smile and an important message— “It’s a great day to be a Jacket!” 💛🖤

I would like to share a few highlights of "Hard Work and Respect" from this week with you:
1. Excellent participation at our "Meet the Teacher" night. Awesome job of preparing your classrooms and our hallways to shine for our kids. ☀️
2. Incredible attendance of 98.9% for the entire district. Each week our goal is be over 96%. 📈
3. Current enrollment is at 512 awesome kids. We finished last May at 511. ⬆️
4. Football and Volleyball are both off to a great start to their season. Volleyball is playing in a tournament in Leon. Football hosts Shelbyville tonight.
5. Congratulations to our Alto ISD Board of Trustees, Kelley Robertson, and Kelly West for receiving a perfect score of 100 on our annual financial rating. 💯
It was a great week to be a Jacket!!🐝
