This early release is necessary so that buses can complete their regular routes and then transport the football team, band, and cheerleaders to the game. We appreciate your understanding!

This Friday is a regular school day and all students are expected to attend.
After this week, there will only be one more regular Friday all year — January 23. Remember: When we’re off on Monday, we go to school the following Friday!

Please return your form as soon as possible so we can continue to care for our students! 💛

Due to a shortage of officials, our football schedule this week has been adjusted:

Thank you for understanding--we appreciate your support! 💛🖤

Our own Kheenan R. was featured in the Jacksonville Daily Progress AND Yahoo Sports! 🙌
Kheenan spends countless hours behind the camera, capturing every play and every moment of Yellowjacket and Lady Jacket athletics. His talent, hard work, and dedication make such a huge impact on our programs, and we’re so proud to see him recognized!

Thank you for another AWESOME week of building relationships and inspiring growth. Let's come together and keep the momentum rolling for our kids and each other. 📈
I would like to share a few highlights of "Hard Work and Respect" from this week with you:
1. Congratulations on Alto ISD recognition in winning the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights Contest. We earned a $5,000 donation towards our athletic program with this award. 🏈🏀🥎⚾
2. Enrollment is still up at 521 Jackets. ⬆️ Great week of attendance with the district meeting our goal at 96.23%💪
3. Volleyball swept Leverett's Chapel on Tuesday night. 🏐
It is always a great week to be a Jacket!!🐝

All students in grades 3–7 brought home a flyer with information about our FFA program. Please note there are a few changes to the rules this year: baked goods, canned goods, and photography will no longer be offered at the Cherokee County Junior Livestock Show.
We look forward to having your child participate in our Jr. FFA program and can’t wait to see them in the show ring at the 2026 Cherokee County Livestock Show!

Mrs. Pierce is the AES Staff Member of the Week. She is a true “whatever it takes” kind of person who goes above and beyond for our students and their families. We’re so grateful for her dedication and heart! 💛

Kickoff follows at 7 PM—don’t miss it!
Parents and community members should sit in the end section nearest the high school doors. Please do not enter the student section. Students may not be picked up from the pep rally. If you’d like your student to sit with you, please sign them out from their campus office ahead of time.

Morgan and Brianna dropped off the supplies this afternoon, and we were overwhelmed in the best way! Our students and teachers are so grateful for your generosity. 💛📚✏️

Carson is showing outstanding leadership in 6th grade and continues to go above and beyond in all of his classes. Way to go, Carson—we’re proud of you! 👏

🌟 Shout out to Ms. Mac! After the storm in March ruined several “old school” projectors, insurance came through with new touch screens for some of our teachers. Mrs. Mac gave up her day off to help Mrs. Grimes get them set up, and she’s even been training other teachers on how to use them. Thank you for going above and beyond! 👏
