As we enter this season of gratitude, remember: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
Happy Thanksgiving, Yellowjackets! 🧡🦃

This event is held in honor of Coach Whitaker’s late mother, Patsy Thacker-Whitaker, an Alto native who passed away from breast cancer in 2016. Her family hopes to honor her legacy by giving back to our community in a meaningful way.
For students or families who may need support, or anyone who would like to donate, please help us spread the word. Thank you for supporting this effort to care for one another.

Lifetouch picture retakes are scheduled for December 10th. Anyone who was not present for picture day in October will have pictures made. If you purchased pictures and would like to have them remade, please send the pictures back in the original envelope with your child.

Congratulations to Janet R., who earned 2nd place in the girls’ welding division! We’re proud of her hard work and skill.
A huge thank you to Mr. Melvin Mumphrey for barbecuing, and to our judges—Travis Henderson from Airgas, and Kelvin Pope and Croy Roush from West Craft. These gentlemen not only judged the contest but also shared valuable tips and advice with our student welders.
A big thank you to Miss Mollie’s Diner for donating a gift certificate as a prize! We appreciate their support of our students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this contest such a positive and educational day!

We are incredibly proud of her hard work and commitment both on the court and in the classroom. Way to go, Emily! 💛🏐
